Pine Run Presbyterian Church

CEMETERY HISTORY

Pine Run established this cemetery over 150 years ago.    Almost every war that America was involved in is represented by soldiers buried in this cemetery, including the Civil War. The original church was situated near it in circa 1800 (see Time Line and History page.) Presently the church is located in the heart of Markle as it has been for 100 years. The cemetery, however, is sometimes forgotten as it is not located beside the church. We continue to maintian the church cemetery.

SEARCH FOR LIVING RELATIVES

Our church is searching for the names and addresses of any, or all, living relatives of loved ones buried in our cemetery.   If you know of any living relatives please email us or snail mail us their name, address, phone number along with the name of the relative buried in our cemetery.   Your cooperation would be greatly appreaciated.
